Lake Street Creamery.

Ain't no street.
Lake Street Creamery is part of the mobile food trend. The truck came by downtown Los Angeles the other day so I went to check them out.

California Zephyr - Lake Street Creamery
Single scoop of their California Zephyr. That's Tahitian vanilla, Meyer lemon, and bits of fresh mint. It was...okay. Bold. Different. I wouldn't order it again; I think the mint was overwhelming. I might try another flavor but at $4 a scoop, I'd have to really be in the mood for ice cream. I'm happy/happier with a scoop of Thrifty's and that's a buck and a quarter. Less than that on special.

Take a look at Lake Street's menu
Folow their Twitter if you are interested in tracking them down.
