Country Style BBQ Pulled Pork
slow roasted, shredded pork in a chipotle BBQ sauce, applewood bacon, housemade pickles, farm house cheddar, cabbage slaw, crispy fried onions on toasted ciabatta 8.95
Here's another sandwich I ate, not too too long ago. It was a little something I picked up while a friend was on jury duty. We went to check out Mendocino Farms in Downtown Los Angeles. I was reminded of it since I was in the area today around lunchtime and it's so unfortunate that a lot of places don't open up on weekends. L.A. is still not busy enough to justify any kind of weekend hours. This pulled pork sandwich was pretty good though nowhere near the best I've had. But not being in Tennessee, it's really not a fair comparison. I'm more of a traditionalist when it comes to things like BBQ. This one is definitely catering to a Californian palate. Pickles and cheddar and ciabattas have no place in a real pulled pork sandwich. Still, it wouldn't be a huge surprise if I were to order this again.
