I bought this packet of Galaxy Minstrels for a coworker thinking he'd be amused by the name. He was. I only asked to have a couple pieces to make my notes on. These were like M&M's but larger; sized like an American nickel. The candy shells were plain brown. The milk chocolate was a little different in flavor. Not exactly sweeter nor less sweet. Not better or worse, just... different. They were tasty on the whole. I should have bought two packets maybe. They went fast. Recommended.

I bought these for the name. Of course I did. Cadbury SNACK! ALL CAPS! EXCLAMATION POINT! A chocolate-coated sandwich of cookie biscuit. This was good. Not great or special, just a small treat when you need a chocolate fix.

It sort of reminded me of a Twix without the caramel.

Yeah, get a few of them. Why not?
Other items that caught my eye. Didn't purchase...
In my last year at college, my roommate brought home a poster she nicked from someplace. It was a photo of huge tin of beans. We went to the art supply to buy a frame and it proudly hung in our apartment kitchen for the year. This stack of bean cans reminded me of those nights at the dining room table, gathered 'around the beans poster' having a drink or making a meal of a bowl of pasta.

Bachelor's Mushy Original. Another thing I was drawn to because of the labeling and name. I don't understand this food.

I assume the "Mushy" are mushy peas, usually eaten with fish 'n' chips.
I'd be interested to see what you think of Cadbury Creme Eggs, Double Deckers and Crunchies.
Every Easter in the States, we have the same Cadbury Creme Egg commercial reminding us that it was that time again.

And before that, for years, this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yw_gEyg7Nt8
I think because it has a 'yolk' I assumed people were as put off as I was, but then how could Cadbury afford to put these out every year? I found out the other day that it does have its fans in my office so we'll be having some around soon for me to try. I'm sure Cadbury are contracted with an American chocolate company and not importing them, so I couldn't be sure they are identical to the original. This will be the Easter I will try the creme egg. I will report back.
The "yolk" is basically liquid sugar. Nom.
I hate Cadburys. Milk Choc is not good. When I was a child I thought the creme egg "yolk" was a real egg. Ugh.
