Yesterday, spent the afternoon at the Pasadena Laemmle again watching yet another French movie.
I know very little about Serge Gainsbourg aside from a few songs so I thought this film was a little tough to follow.
Still, excellent casting for a biopic. Pretty good acting; especially the lead.
I said to my friend as we left the theater, "I haven't seen Laetitia Casta in at least a decade... So what happened to her face???" She's still beautiful as Brigitte Bardot, but it's a bit shocking. I seriously haven't seen her since the late 90s around the time France started putting her face on Francs and postage stamps.
Must-see for fans. All else, Netflix it.
In keeping with running-into-people-I-know-everytime-I-go-out, I saw the guy that sold me my new pair of glasses. Getting the lenses Rx done now and will be sporting the new spex tomorrow.
