Unexpected Delay.

Friends, I am happy to report that I made it to Lobster Fest on Saturday. I know now what "Lobster Fest" means. I understand. And on Sunday I went over to the Los Angeles County Fair and it was a good time as always.

I was planning on talking about that or at least working on photos, but there was a bit of an animal emergency in my mother's backyard. It seems a young cat gave birth to a litter but was refusing to take care of her kittens. Little mews were coming from some brush and what we found by flashlight was not pretty. Anyhow, long story short, we had to take the babies to the local animal emergency clinic. And while it may seem odd to want to eat after that ordeal, it is 930 at night and I haven't had dinner yet. So I'm off to cook something.
