Here are a few shots from a recent trip to the Japanese supermarket near my home.
I especially liked the packaging.

I thought the girl illustration was cute.
I also thought it was very un-Japanese to draw her with small eyes, rather than freakishly big anime-style ones.
The rosy cheeks and pouty face was a nice touch too.

Fanta World.
New York = Apple. I get it.
What is USA HIPHOP flavor? Would Diddy drink this? Actually, probably yes.
Does that mean I should? Maybe no.

Boys' Day koinobori print. I like it. I've always been into those carp banners. In fact, I'm glad that the boys are now sharing it with the girls and Boys' Day is now Kodomo no Hi (Children's Day). Girls still have their own day called Hinamatsuri, and our mochi is better. Still kinda jealous of the carp flags, but this is America, baby. I can eat caramel corn if I want. I can fly a carp banner and eat Men's Pocky. Though if I wanted to do those things in Japan too, I'm pretty sure no one would stop me.
