Took Mom Empirical out for celebratory In-N-Out burgers and fries. She, longtime Lakers fan, won't be able to make it to tomorrow's victory parade in downtown Los Angeles to celebrate their championship (not that she would anyway; she hates a crowd--especially rowdy ones). Is there a better meal for a proud Angeleno? (Yeah, maybe tacos. That's up for debate.). Even I had a cheeseburger today. I usually don't eat beef. The last time I had one of these was 2005. They make a good grilled cheese if you know how to ask for it, but this is pretty good. I may not have another until another 5 years go by. Or there's something worth celebrating. Till then, maybe a 'vegetarian' one.
