Presidential Portraits.

When I go to the L.A. County Fair, I always love looking at the art submitted by local kids.

The Washington/Lincoln diptychs must have been a specific assignment because I saw a lot of them. These were my favorites but I especially liked the highly-stylized one in the third photo. Lincoln looks like an old-timey comic book character. I would read that comic. That kid totally deserved the blue ribbon. Highfive, Antonio.

I'm always excited to see an Obama piece.
In the painting, he's got a knowing look and a sneer like, "Don't worry. I got a healthcare plan and your back."
The quilt below is from the Orange County Fair and it's an impressive rendering in cloth. Look at that shading.
Both pieces have blue ribbons.
