Dinner at DCA.
If you follow my Flickr, you'll notice an influx of Disneyland photos. Maybe? It's certainly not at the point I'd like it to be. Earlier this year I joined a community of dorkuses; I bought an Annual Pass. And buying a Pass changes the way you look at a trip to Disneyland. You want to go as often as possible--or perhaps that's why you bought it in the first place--to "get your money's worth" even though you're well aware that just by going you are looking at additional food, transportation, parking costs. You just want to go!
In going frequently, you aren't so pressured and rushed to ride everything at once. See this and do that. Last time I went it was just for a few hours to grab dinner and that was fun. We took in a few rides and just roamed around. I got to hang out in new corners of the Park that I wouldn't be able to 'waste my time' in if I didn't have a Pass. I try to encourage other Passholder friends to come out too. I'm new to this cult. I like to learn the tips and secrets from the veterans.
Readers, let's see your favorite Disney attractions, restaurants, Disney memories, SECRETS(?)in the comments!

Welcome to the club my friend! The Pass is the way forward. Sadly, I don't live in socal anymore to justify having one. But back in the day....it was great!
DCA used to have a themed restaurant called soap opera bistro. the food was good and it was funny eating in "sets" and having the servers as "characters" from certain shows... i think it lasted a little under a year :(
there also used to be an indoor food court that had chinese food and some other yummy options but DCA never really made $$$ so they shut it down :(
i also loved ariel's grotto. sad they closed it down too!
Hey Rain, I believe Ariel's Grotto is [re]opened though I only noticed it for the first time the last time I was there. It looks very much geared toward the younger kids.
Oh girl, you'll love this: there's a new food counter at DCA that is pretty much generic Asian. They ONLY serve rice bowls--you pick whatever meat you want, then you choose whatever Asian sauce (country) you want. Thai, Chinese, Korean, or Japanese. TEN DOLLARS. What??
Sadly missed the Soap Opera Bistro because it sounds like it ruled. I'm eating at the Bengal Tiger next time. I'm pretty much set on that.
