Expenses.

A photog friend, who follows my stuff on Flickr, helpfully alerted to me that he could see some loss in my image quality.

Reason: Time to update my point-and-shoot.

True. I've been shooting with my rugged little Canon since 2005. Actually, I'm lucky to get as many thousands of shots off the one camera as I have. Except for a handful of Polaroids and even fewer scans off my 35 mm prints, my Flickr account IS my 5 megapix Canon.

I'm unsure what to do at this point. I guess I'll take camera recommendations and am putting off my cell phone purchase a little longer.
