My Favorite Homeless People.

Yes, I have favorites.

I see the same people all the time. This morning "Guy Who Yells" yelled at me again asking for money. "CAN I HAVE A QUARTER???" he says with his hand out. That's all he ever says. "CAN I HAVE A QUARTER?" or simply, "QUARTER!" Times are tough; he used to yell "GIMME A DOLLAR!"

This morning he was wearing these funky novelty sunglasses--a lot of stores closer to skid row sell them--and smoking a J. He might be trying to soften his image?

Our favorite homeless guy in the art district areas is a very clean dude with a beautiful voice who offers to sing for you if you give him money. The last time we saw him he was wearing a t shirt that said something about counterfeit fashion items fund terrorism or something. He seems to only sing if you give him a dollar or more, not just loose change.

I like your story about the lady with a bucket on her head?

Yeah, I know the guy you mean. His name is Julius or something? He's friends with a couple people here. Really good singer.

Bucket lady rules. I'll probably get to my other favorites. I'd like to have some record of them here before I forget.
