Can anyone confirm that The Barn is in fact closed? If so, what year did it shut down?

I recently found out Showcase closed earlier this year. Friends of friends, Death by Stereo played the final night. There you have it, the final nail in the coffin holding my youth...Sorry. Just thinking about my teen years brings out this overly dramatic side.
