New Theory.

I always see it as a sign of personal weakness when I head over to Starbucks. Especially since I don't particularly care for the coffee. I go because I'd like a hot drink and it's right over there and I hate that about me.

Today I got stuck in line, 2 people behind a woman that took forever to order and another eon to pay. She didn't know what she wanted and started asking her friend "where that other dollar went." I had to wait with her for our drinks too and she had the nerve to tell her friend, "Look at the line! We got here JUST IN TIME."

Caffeine addiction, laziness, settling for banality, complete disregard for other people...My newest theory is that if you ever go to Starbucks, you are a terrible person.

I love Peets! They're always quieter than a Starbucks, the beans are better, the tea is better.

Wholeheartedly agree. Plus they have better baked goods. Peet's sells a ginger cookie that is wonderful and they offer free wifi that you don't need to join a club to access.
