Filed under "Artsy Fartsy" and "Japanese American"

It's that time of year already. Halloween, the election, time change, trips, shows, other exciting ish leading up to full-swing holiday season (Thanksgiving, Xmas, New Year...)

I'm throwing one in the mix for any Bay Area readers. Friend to the Empirical, Kiyoshi Nakazawa, is having another one, this time a group show in NorCal at Giant Robot SF. Says Kiyoshi, "I have some hot new poop that will be displayed for your eyegasm pleasure. And yes, I will be at the opening reception where I will exhibit the power of my Chuck Norris-style push downs." Empirical has not been to GRSF, but if it's anything like the GRs down here in the L.A. area, it should be a good one. Additionally, we have a lot of faith in another Friend to the Empirical, Eric Nakamura, to curate. We've mentioned both these guys here before because we like to support Japanese Americans, especially the youngish ones, the arty ones, and especially when they are talented people.

The deets...
