I bought it because it was pretty cheap and I wanted a snacky thing that wasn't Pocky. I've been eating a lot of Pocky lately; my desk drawers are crammed with empty boxes. Why don't I just throw them away? I guess I figure at some point I will recycle the boxes but there isn't a bin handy at the office. I know, that's a really stupid answer. I'm getting off-topic here.
Back to this Soft Raisirn* snack...It was less than $2 and if you look at the packaging, 2 biscuits per 7 packets...Hm, I guess it's not that cheap, but comparatively it is. The chocolaty ones cost more. The green grapes graphic should hint at artificial green grapes flavoring of the cookie part. Then add actual raisins--there really aren't that many.
Ehh. Should have stuck with Pocky. This Raisirn-thing is made by Bourbon company. My mom used to buy a similar product by Tohato, and I remember liking that as a child. I think was looking for something more like that which was denser, flatter and more uniformly-shaped. I couldn't find it though; maybe they don't make them anymore? Just remembering it makes this purchase all the more disappointing. Still, not the worst thing in the world. If you like grape-ish things, give 'em a try sometime.
* I don't know why it's spelled that way.
Update: Found Tohato
