I've had some unexpected expenses come up so I'm really trying to cut my costs this week. Buying lunch everyday is my biggest expense so I went through my wallet and old business cards looking for those free lunch cards. You know, collect this many stamps after this many purchases and get a menu item free. That's what it's come to. I found two completed cards that I never redeemed. I used one of them today.

It was pretty good. I usually just get a veggie panino or a pizza. Regularly $9.75, today it was free! A nice little splurge after having the worst veggie burger of my life on Monday. So bad that it had corn and edamame in it. And it was green. And barely held itself together before I eventually threw it away.
Might have to get my free curry tomorrow. Not enough stamps for a free coffee. Time to look at some gift cards I never used too. I think I have about $11 in Starbucks. That's good for a sandwich at least, no?

Starbucks has bananas, if you feel the need for potassium. And espresso brownies, which makes a nice combination.
