Staying In.

Haven't been posting much recently since the weather and my recent injury have been keeping me indoors and away from anything interesting. Wanted to catch There Will Be Blood this weekend and still(!) have not been able to make that happen. The only thing I've been able to do is make a quick stop at the bank and stuff myself on Indian food.
That's three weekends in a row of Indian food; I love these buffets where you can try a variety of things and most of it is vegetarian. A bit pricier than other food choices, but this is the sort of thing I'd never cook at home. I'm intimidated by it, not only the necessary techniques, but also tracking down all the necessary ingredients--holy mole. I could never. Not to mention making naan. I wouldn't even know where to begin.
Okay so there is the Indian food thing. Also, going to the local better-than-decent Mexican place that makes excellent chicken burritos. AND, the mochi-obsession which became donut-obsession has now become the Indonesian ginger candy-fascination. I tear my way through bags of the stuff; chewy and spicy. I crave the spice. I will need some Thai food in the near future.
