Horrified.

I've seen a lot of bad stuff but nothing like this...

I just saw, about ten minutes ago, a young (but not so young), seemingly-bright, young couple trying to maneuver a stroller down the steps of L.A. City Hall. I was on a bus across the street looking out the window. The stroller pitches forward and tumbles down some steps.

Please! Let there not be a baby in it!

There was. And she wasn't strapped in, flew out of the stroller and landed face first on the flight of stairs.

Was their blood? OY!

Seriously though, now that I'm seeing more and more parents pop up around me, that's their fault! They should be freaky overparenters that check a thousand times that baby doesn't fall out of the stroller!

No blood. But. Man. I'm traumatized.
I'm barely composed right now at the office. I started almost-crying a second ago.

I think I'm the only one who noticed...

They walked away pretending nothing had happened.

Idiots.

1. Find a wheelchair ramp.
2. HOLD THE BABY while the other parent carries the stroller down the stairs!

It's common to see on the bus a mother with an infant and a stroller (if not with several children) maneuver a stroller and bags on and off the bus with grace. This couple at City Hall should have known better.

OMG! What the hell were they thinking!

Hoping to take our minds off the unpleasantness, Citizenrobot and I turn to webcomics.

Maybe you didn't hear the Looney Tunes music in the background to give you a clue on what was to happen. Or perhaps the "beep, beep" before the stroller pitched forward.
Guess the parents had one too many Acme anvils fall on their heads.
