I began my Goodwill hunting (LOL) with this photo. Cassette singles! Shown here, Prince, Dru Down, Boyz II Men... I took this photo to email a friend/coworker because we often laugh at cover art for 90s music. Pimp of the Year? Self-proclaimed. Who knows how official these rankings are anyway.
(More photos below)

The Southern Living volumes made me think of Cranemelon. Her mother has an extensive collection of these in their home. I always enjoyed looking through them on my visits. Unexpectedly found that "Whoomp There it Is" single jammed in between these books.

Woody Allen fan? Sure. Do I need a day-by-day account of the filming for Radio Days? No. I did buy that Horizon though it was overpriced. Oh well. There were articles on Jean Seberg, JD Salinger, and beatniks in there. I couldn't leave it behind.

This was sort of cool. Amidst the right wing books, the self-help (there were a lot, probably because I live in the suburbs), old textbooks, there was this little Gloria Steinem gem. For $2. I left it behind but I gave it a good browse.

Terrible mugs. A thrift store staple. I thought I could use one to keep at work, but none of them really stood out. Not even this one with the kitty tail handle.

Trivial Pursuit board game and subsidiary card sets. Weird fact: I've never played this game.

I wouldn't. These have been in other people's hair. Near their scalps. No thanks. I'm really interested in looking at heat styling appliances though. They've changed over the years. Some are complicated and intimidating.

Laser disc karaoke. Look at the cover art! What is that about???

Took this photo primarily because it said Norway. Thought the lettering was sort of cool too.

Anyone need the Moonlighting soundtrack on vinyl?

A Benetton shirt. Never been worn.

Cool Union Jack sweater. Wasn't quite my size.

I really liked this graphic sweater but it was moth-eaten.

Bruce Lee comics.

Zelda tshirt. Couldn't be bothered to go through all the t-shirts. I have too many as is. Trying to pare down my own collection.
Will probably be doing more thrifting soon. Hopefully these photo posts will become more interesting. Planning on doing some antiquing this weekend in Orange County.

OMG Love this comment. Thank you! And so flattered that you think I'm even anywhere near the same league as Xenia and her thrifting skills. She's the pro! I try to post thrifting pics as I'm digging in case anyone is interested in my finds before I leave the store. Hit me up next time if I find something that catches your eye!
