Les Plus Grandes Chansons Des Films Disney
Could it be? I went all the way to Europe for the first time and the only thing I brought back for myself was this 3-cd box set of Disney music that includes French versions of popular Disney songs... It didn't occur to me until I was on hour 10 of my flight home and trying to fill in my customs form. What items of value are in my suitcase? What would they be tempted to tax me on... A small wristwatch I purchased for my mother at the Centre Pompidou was only a few euros more, a shirt for a friend, a small gift for my friend's newborn. Yeah, that's all.
A few friends were sent postcards instead—so far, the response on that has been very positive. I think people appreciate regular mail because it's been so long since they've had any. How quaint! A postcard! Predictably, I beat the postcards back to the States. Well, that's why snail mail went out of style.
Travel tip: Use a very small suitcase and you'll automatically choose your souvenirs carefully.
* Never made it to Cimetière du Père-Lachaise, but it's obvious here I was thinking Wilde.
