Recent Wines

Emergence - Central Coast
Emergence
(48 syrah/29 mourvedre/23 grenache)
Picked up at Trader Joe's for $6. Drank it from hella expensive Riedel.
And why not? Riedel is meant to be used.
Recommended for everyday sipping.

Réserve Perrin Côtes du Rhône
Réserve Perrin Côtes du Rhône
Bought at Fresh & Easy on a whim. It was $7.
Used the Riedel again. Had it with fresh fish dinner.
Aerate!

laughing magpie - shiraz/viognier
Laughing Magpie
(shiraz/viognier)
Has been in my "cellar" for too long.
I forgot about it and it was way past its window.

Longoria - hoo doo red
Hoo Doo Red
Longoria
Another one that sat around for too long.
I picked this up on a daytrip with citizenrobot and apollosputnik

Well there goes all my "affordable" wines. Now onto the good stuff. See? Spring cleaning isn't so hard.

you are kicking ass with all these posts! it's like xmas for me :)

try fresh & easy's $1.99 wines and tell me what you think...i use saludas white wine for cooking and i think it's pretty good. not as strong as kendall jackson though. they offer 2 brands one is from australia called big kahuna and the saludas brand is from spain.
