Slow Starts.

I've been neglecting Empirical's writing duties [and sleep] due to Battlestar Galactica addiction.

I just thought you should know.

Sure, I still drop the occasional Tweet and have a few photos up from New Year celebrations, but haven't been able to piece enough time together away from the dvds (yes, it has been nonstop disc after disc) to write something coherent. It's 240 a.m. now and I'm barely getting through this entry...

Right now, I'm mainly thinking about the Battlestar Pegasus and Admiral Cain and how she's played by Michelle Forbes, which makes me think about how she looks as great as she did in Swimming in Sharks and when did that even come out? The early 1990s? Kevin Spacey still had some hair left. I think I have it on VHS somewhere! And I wonder how my face would look with her eyebrows. And then I think about her in Seinfeld and then I am amused realizing that whenever she is onscreen during BSG, I absentmindedly say "Hi, JULIE!" aloud in my best "Elaine voice" alternating with "I just handed her the BIG SALAD." Well so you see now why I haven't posted photos of limited edition cosmetics that have come into my possession or photos of anything else around here or reviewed these stacks of Japanese KitKats that our Empirical friends brought back from the motherland...I just can't.

Anyway. Watch more Seinfeld and Battlestar Galactica! This is my advice to you in 2010! Yes, they are old shows but what else you gonna watch? Actually, if you have suggestions for a show you think is better, let's hear about it.
