I try not to go overboard and stick to things I know will not go to waste. A treat though is that I'll pick up some kind of snacky item to try on each visit. Last week I picked up a tray of frozen spanokopita which I've slowly made my way through. I pop a couple into the toaster oven for a flaky treat.

I regret not ever picking up the real deal while I was in Queens last year. There were Greek treats on every corner, yet I've always opted for the other triangle-shaped treat: PIZZA. Well, it was Cari's NYC Pizza Tour 08. I like the TJ's one but I wouldn't necessarily get it again. How authentic is it, I wonder. I'm not a huge phyllo fan. I'd prefer a spinach calzone or something.
Today I picked up a pack of the "Tom Yum Cashews" a spicy-looking, Thai-inspired item. Hoping it's tasty. You might be seeing more TJ's stuff on here just because I'm enjoying dabbling around in it. What are your fave TJ's purchases?

their hummus, tzatziki and pesto is pretty good. i'm trying to think of other stuff i've had from there but reaching a blank wth
Oh, I miss those dark-chocolate covered giant caramels sooo much...
I'm enjoying the refrigerated pizzas--the goat cheese one is fav. I cook it in the toaster oven instead of firing up the conventional. I do up the frozen snacky items in the same manner. Most of the dips are good though there is a lemon-y one that I hated.
@rain You might like the frozen tangerine chicken in a pinch. It's decent and inexpensive if you need to make something fast. I'd get it on a rare occasion. Bought once because it seemed to be a very popular item. There are 2 sauce packs included--use both even though it seems like too much. Serve with some vegetable side dish and rice of course, and it'll be just enough for you and husband.
@Blue Lass I haven't had those! For sweets, I usually stick to a dark chocolate bar or a thing of ginger cookies.
