Orla Kiely.

I'm a fan. Always have been but used to think it's not really what I'm into--I wouldn't really carry a wheat colored linen tote bag--until a couple weekends ago I was looking around Nordstrom and saw a few of her handbags. Definitely more my speed. It still had the Orla feel to it, but was a bit punchier.

This morning I was at Target looking for a couple items. Happened to see that Orla has joined their "Design For All*." Finally, a few of her pieces that I can afford. Picked up a couple pieces of drinkware. Here are some photos from my visit...

...

Prices ranged from $2.49 for an acrylic tumbler to about $20 or so for a melamine serving bowl. Great prints OBVIOUSLY and I liked the palette a lot.

*Design for All is a side project that well-known designers pick up to make household items and/or clothing available at an affordable price exclusively through Target.

Wow. Great designer. Never heard of her until now. I'll check her out next time I'm in Target. Thanks! Love the colors and design. Has a sort of retro feel to it.

I might get one or two of those canisters to put kitchen junk in! They're cuter than stuff at C&B.
