Mt Sac WTF?

I had to take care of things at Mt San Antonio Community College today down there in Walnut. Been awhile since I went that far down on Temple.

What is going on? They are doing major construction work all over the place. Who's paying for all of that? (Yes on RR voters?) Looks like major major work. It's disrupted bus service and traffic all around Temple/Amar and Grand. Very confusing. More walking for me (grumble). That Bonita incline was never fun to scale. Now it's a war zone.

Walnut sucks. If it weren't the home to the local community college, I swear I'd never go. Sorry to any Walnut residents if that offends. I'm struggling to think of another reason. There used to be a good Thai takeout on Amar/Grand but that was years ago. Uhh...I noticed they have Taco Nazo next to the Starbucks on that corner but you can get that in Pomona and a million other better places.

I'm willing to listen...Do you live in Walnut? What am I missing? (Don't say Applebees; instant disqualification.)
