All This Before 930 A.M....

Saw the result of a collision on the freeway. 3 cars, 1 semi. A friend and I had a debate on whether the guy in the worst of the smashed up cars was dead. I say alive. I think I convinced her. She was pretty freaked out about it.

Saw a skinhead. In L.A. In 2009! What? I was on a bus, he was at a bus stop. We had eye contact. It was weird.

Saw a really cute dog outside a Starbucks. [I don't know dog breeds very well.] Sitting patiently and relaxed. We also had eye contact. May I steal you from your owner? No, I am loyal. Okay, later, dog.

What kind of day will this be?

UPDATE: I forgot that I also saw the WORST COMB OVER EVER on the bus. It was so bad that instead of laughing at the guy you just felt sad for him.

@rain Yeah, I don't see SHARPs or skins outside of like Mentone, Yucaipa or Upland. I was thrown by seeing one in Downtown Los.

My only skinhead experience was back in the 909!

I was a huge fan of the retarded library on Euclid, it was bigger than most of the libraries out there (meaning it had 2 stories) - once I was leaving with a huge stack of books in my arms (welcome to my teenage years) and a man held the door open for me.

It took me two beats to realize he had evil looking tats all over him, his neck, his skull...and that he was a full on skin head.

WHY HOLD THE DOOR OPEN FOR A GIRL WITH MIXED ANCESTRY! I was so confused.

@citizenrobots A skinhead held the door open for me at the Mentone AM/PM and the few that I've known personally are very polite.

@rain Now that I think of it, he was at the bus stop near the criminal courts building. Maybe he had business to take care of there.

why not embrace the baldness? why the comb over. it's so embarassing, for the person and for everyone around them.
