GTD vs. Getting Nothing Done.

From my Twitter
inlandempirical @sweatpantsninja I've figured out how to take the parental controls off the PS2. BOOYAKA!*

sweatpantsninja @inlandempirical HOW HOW HOW

inlandempirical @sweatpantsninja It took some fiddlin' around but it's DO-able! Amazing what you can accomplish when you're procrastinating on other stuff.

I can't concentrate. There are a few tasks at hand that I'm stuck on. The past few days I've found myself working on everything else.

This weekend, add to PS2 unlock...laundry; wrapping gifts; baby shower; cooking; photo download from camera (way overdue); blog update (including this one!); flickr update; charging batteries; Bully; figuring out how to open a computer tower; washing dishes; sweeping kitchen; cleaning out the fridge; colored hair; filed nails; smoked a couple cigarettes; made an insane plan with an insane cousin to barbecue a pork shoulder; discussed the plight of J-Town (Little Tokyo) with 2 generations of Japanese Americans [actually meant to blog THAT and the upcoming Mitsuwa closure, but my thoughts on it are completely disorganized]; ate; dumped files from hard drive; some Netflix...

This is how much I don't feel like doing something: I've even attempted to look at my incomplete film edit. Then I got frustrated with that and I started blogging this and IMing a friend in Connecticut. My mind is all over the place. Plus I still have a headache from yesterday--dehydration I think.

* How I did it: I looked at the manual. Yes, I've looked at it before. This time it actually worked. The idea came to me while I watching some Seinfeld DVDs and Jerry walks in on Kramer lounging on his couch, "Are you reading my VCR manual?" Response was, "Well we can't all be reading the classics, Professor Highbrow."
