I felt kind of sick. Fatigue. I little achy. Yesterday I sneezed a lot at the office and thought it was dust-allergy. Combat with huge Airborne dose.
Still felt sick arriving in DTLA. Went to the L.A. Times building to get some cash from the ATM--there's a bank on the ground floor. Took the cash to City Hall--Leon's under City Hall makes the best chicken soup.
Ate the soup and actually feel a little better. Now I wish I'd bought two servings. I don't want to walk back over there.
The new/improved Flickr grows on me very slowly. (I still don't like the sidebar on the homepage.) I realised that I could go back to the beginning of time on comments I've made on photos and people who have commented on mine. Discovering new photostreams through that.
Thinking about how Netflix is pretty impressive. I'm coming up on only my 1st week of the service and I'm happy with it so far. The turnaround is much faster than I expected. Credit a coworker for doing the research for me when she 1st started on it; she went around to all the local mailboxes to figure out which is the fastest. It's silly, but effective. The only thing--and this is not really a complaint at all--I've stumped the database. On a handful of films I've looked up, Netflix has never heard of them. Not their fault though. Apparently these are films that for whatever reason, never made it to DVD. The number of films I've located successfully more than make up for it.

The "comments you've made" function is one of my favourite things on flickr. I wish I could do this for blogs (I can see my comments on other Wordpress blogs, but not Blogger, for example).
@simon What do you think of the Flickr sidebar? Even links to sets, tags, etc. would have been a better use of space.
I've just tried the new homepage thingy. Hadn't seen it before. Do you mean the bit on the right that links to the flickr blog? Can't say I've ever used it.
Yeah, I have no use for Flickr Blog. I wish I had more control over the configuration. Waiting to see what kind of improvements they'll make from the feedback.
