Sorry to all if I seem a little disoriented lately. There have been many things going on the past couple weeks--that is, more than I'm used to--and I have been feeling very overloaded by it all. Not in a bad way, but a general sense of being a bit overwhelmed. My schedules and routines have been disrupted. If I have a goal right now, it is to not get sick, which often happens when I don't sleep/eat as I should. Overall, I'm pretty happy with the challenge of having more activity lately.
Sleep is a funny thing to me lately. I'm generally more of a night person, but my day-to-day dictates that I wake up quite early. So on an average night I'm only sleeping about 3 or 4 hours and I take naps while using public transit. I know it's not the safest thing to do, but people usually leave me be. This is the amusing bit: sometime between Saturday and Sunday I slept for an estimated [virtually undisturbed] 12-14 hours. Total hibernation. It's pretty crazy. I've done it before but it certainly is a rare occurrence. It's not something I plan for.
So I'm caught up on sleep, obviously. Work has been busy but today I was prepared and fully rested. I felt good. Well, I like Mondays anyway, but this one was especially nice. At least we're having a couple days of nice weather before the rain (coming on Wednesday, they say).
Here's an update: been listening to the last Shins album--RECOMMENDED; growing obsession with organic produce and Farmers Markets; putting pretty much all the weight back on since I was sick, mostly by burritos; still coughing though(!) which is annoying; been researching a bunch of things for an upcoming personal project with aggravating results; posting to Flickr semi-regularly; reading everything (emails, IMs, your comments on Empirical, blogs, news, magazines, etc.).

I'm crazy about farmer's markets too. There's a cute one in Montrose Tony and I love to go to - also just to be in cute old town Montrose.
But my favorite favorite is the one near Amoeba Music...it's on Sundays. WE COULD GO THIS SUNDAY.
Oh also! Some night, we can do the Colorado Wine Company and then the Eagle Rock Farmers Market behind it. CREPES. THEY GOT A GOOD CREPE DUDE THAR.
Ooooo crepes...I just finally got to the crepe place at Victoria Gardens and was *tres* disappointed. Expensive, too.
You'll be happy to know that the cough does subside. Eventually.
I want to check out that wine bar at Victoria Gardens.
Had a good lunch at the King's Fish House there.
I've never actually had a crepe. Ever. I wouldn't even know where to begin with those.
Well, I think the best way to begin would be something with brown sugar and rum, preferably on fire. But that's just me.
No moleste en el coche.
