Freeway Kids Update.

You might remember I wrote about Glenna Boltuch Avila's The L.A. Freeway Kids awhile back. Well here is your update: THEY ARE GONE.

The beautiful mural on the Hollywood Freeway (US-101) was so severely damaged by graffiti (worse than it looked in my previous post) that the only thing left to do was to paint over the entire mess with gray paint. Good job people. This is why we can't have nice things.
