Flashback Friday 9.

I'm still awake! Since it's already Friday I thought I'd get a jump on this week's FF.

Originally I was thinking I'd put something up from Infinity Within. "Rubber Lover" or "Vote, Baby, Vote," but ultimately, there are reasons why this one is a classic.

- Japanese director
- Lady Miss Kier is fabulous
- Towa Tei is AWESOME.
- A little mid-song Q-Tip.


It also reminded me of when my friend Kristine and I went through a little clubbing phase. We'd go to smallish clubs and request this song. The dancefloor would clear out because no one wanted to dance to a song that was already several years old. The guys would stay at the table largely pretending not to know us, I'm sure. We'd make our way to the dead center of the floor and suddenly you'd see two fools doing "the shopping cart." We were only able to pull it off a couple times since DJs figured out that it really drove people away. Maybe even more by our horrendous choreographed dancing. "Lawnmower! Lawnmower!!!"

Good memory.

I hope some of you will watch this and maybe even boogie in your cubicles in the morning.
